Terms of service

These terms govern access to and use of CADS. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Effective date: April 20, 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and Cadslab (“Cadslab,” “we,” “us”) regarding CADS, including the website and application made available at our domains (the “Service”). If you use CADS on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data.

The Service

CADS helps teams capture corrective actions, root-cause reasoning, decisions, and related investigation context in a structured, traceable form. Features may change over time. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, data, or other users’ accounts;
  • Introduce malware, overload infrastructure, or interfere with the Service’s operation;
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted;
  • Use the Service to transmit unlawful, harmful, or deceptive content.

We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or risks harm.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to CADS. You grant Cadslab a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you and, where applicable, your organisation. You represent that you have the rights needed to grant this licence.

Confidentiality

Investigation and decision data may be sensitive. We treat customer data in accordance with our agreements and security practices. You are responsible for configuring who in your organisation can access what you store in CADS.

Third-party services

The Service may integrate with identity providers, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and other third parties. Their use is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. Cadslab is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

Disclaimer

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CADSLAB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DECISIONS OR OUTCOMES CAPTURED IN CADS WILL MEET ANY PARTICULAR BUSINESS OR REGULATORY OUTCOME.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CADSLAB AND ITS SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID CADSLAB FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS, IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID FEES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify Cadslab against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights, subject to applicable law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment (if applicable), or operational or legal reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Cadslab operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on this page and update the effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example by email or in-product notice). Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.
